Codex skin studio

Use a local studio workflow, not a fake browser mockup.

Codex Skin Studio traffic is looking for a place to create, preview, and apply Codex skins. This is the practical version: start with a verified pack, download the source files, copy the agent command, and remix only after the restore path is clear.

Local-first

Install the Skill workflow

The workflow runs through public release packs and local files. It does not require uploading real Codex screenshots, chats, project names, or sidebars to a hosted editor.

Starter

Fetch Caishen Readable first

This is the current best studio seed because it has the strongest usage signal and the safest readability profile for everyday Codex work.

python3 "$CODEX_SKILL_DIR/scripts/fetch_skin_pack.py" caishen-readable
Studio prompt

Remix with reviewable files

The prompt keeps the studio output concrete: image, theme metadata, README, safe preview copy, readability checks, and rollback notes.

Use $codex-skin-pack-installer as a local Codex skin studio workflow. Fetch caishen-readable, inspect background.png/theme.json/README.md, then prepare a new public-safe Codex skin pack with original or licensed artwork, sanitized preview copy, readable Home/Task/Diff/Composer states, and a restore path.
Studio starter packs

Pick a finished direction before remixing.

Each starter points to a real theme page and downloadable files, so the next user action can be install, inspect, remix, or restore.
