Use appearance controls for simple changes

For color, contrast, and font changes, keep the workflow close to native Codex appearance controls. A small import token is enough when you do not need a full background skin.

A background skin should be inspectable before it is applied. Start with Caishen Readable because it has the strongest download signal and a lower-strain palette.
